    Work and Age

50+ (and some of us feel that :-)) is not old. On the contrary: 30 years of experience, a cool head in crises and a huge network are priceless.

At best, you have learned on your journey towards 50+ that true strength lies in combining experience with curiosity and continuing to learn every day – especially from the young talents in the team.

We at ASSD are a very stable, reliable mixed-age team and everyone benefits from the know-how and expertise of the others. It’s a wonderfully effective exchange and a fantastic way to work together.

Many thanks to the entire ASSD team from the 50+ Claudia

  • Workiversary

    Workiversary

We are extremely happy about Anna-Lena Rösler’s company anniversary!

We got to know her eight years ago as a working student and now she has been one of the main pillars of the ASSD hotel and hostel management software for six years.

    Anna-Lena Rösler

Anna is a mathematician, a bright mind with great analytical skills and a wonderful versatility.

In addition to her job, she loves to travel and cook and knows just about everything there is to know about wine and food. She is also an incomparable sports enthusiast and cycles several thousand kilometers every year!

Anna is also an absolute family person, loves spending time with her friends and is always ready to try out new places in the city. Anyone who knows her is very lucky – she’s a wonderful person and when you’re out and about with her, a good time is inevitable.

It’s just great to have you with us, Anna. Thank you!

    Anniversary

Congratulations on eight years with the company, Alexandra Salazar!

    ASSD team member Alexandra

Since November 2017 Alexandra is an important and consistent team member of ASSD Hospitality Management Software for hostels and hotels. As she used to work for many years in several Berlin hostels working with the ASSD software, Alex knew all ASSD systems very well from the beginning. She is one of ASSD top staff in support, is very committed to software roll-out, is also one of our training experts and creates the content of our ASSD You Tube channel.

In her private life, Alexandra is an absolute soccer and Formula 1 fan and will go to heaven and hell to see a Bruce Springsteen concert live. She also enjoys traveling, baking amazing cakes and can hardly say no to a good book.

A thousand thanks for your great work, we really appreciate your professionalism and commitment. Here’s to the next eight (or even better eighty :-)) years!

  • A look behind the scenes

    A look behind the scenes

Today we want to take a look behind the scenes at ASSD and introduce one of our valued employees, as we celebrate the fifth anniversary of our colleague Alexander Noppenberger. He is a Senior Developer and joined our team exactly five years ago.

At the moment, Alex is mainly working on a functionality concerning automatic e-mails. As soon as an e-mail is placed in a special folder, the ASSD PMS automatically knows what to answer or which PMS response to make. Ingenious!

Alexander Noppenberger’s hobbies include restoring old games consoles and programming in his spare time – true passion knows no bounds :-). Alex is also a big fan of long-distance travel, which he undertakes together with his Colombian wife. And as soon as he has some time left over, he brushes up on his Spanish.

Alex, we are very happy to have you on the team and look forward to the next five years with you. Thank you for your active support!

  • Office inauguration

    Office inauguration

In July, ASSD moved into new, additional offices and inaugurated them in style. On the one hand with bread and salt to ensure happiness and success in the future and on the other, of course, with Prosecco.

We used the following day for a team excursion. During a professional guided tour of Munich’s wholesale market halls, we learned a lot about the central hub for fruit and vegetables as well as about the food itself.

We then satisfied our appetite with veal sausage and pretzels. A worthy, typically Bavarian conclusion for our great team.

  • Participation in the reading festival

    Participation in the reading festival

As a sponsor of the non-profit Munich association Lesefüchse e.V., ASSD GmbH was invited to take part in its 17th reading festival as an honorary reader.

The event took place at the Grünwald Forest Experience Center, just outside Munich. 200 children from various elementary school traveled to the event and spent a wonderful morning in and with nature.

Claudia Stolz read from Marianne Hofmann’s book “Die kleine Birke” on behalf of ASSD. Other sponsors and honorary readers were the St. Michaelsbund media house and the Munich police, who were the absolute highlight for the children with several chief marshals, a chief inspector and the vice president as well as the reading fox.

Language is the basis of everything we do (not just programming languages :-)). That is why it is very important to us to awaken a love of books, reading and stories.
